Wisdom from a father to a son. Wisdom given by our parents/ elders are vital to our growth. Wisdom is like honey. Honey is rich in antioxidants, improves heart health, and promotes wound/ burn healing ( healthline.com). If you apply wisdom, you will be better off in life as you mature.

Forget wisdom of God that has been taught to him throughout his life knowing if he applied teachings he would live a long prosperous life.

Applying knowledge of the Word and Obedience to the Word of God leads to long healthy life.

During intercessory prayer God told me I didn’t trust Him. Immediately I began to “track” my trust/ lack of trust in God for a year ( recording of my journey are on fb). I realized a few things about me. I didn’t trust God in areas I felt as if I knew more about, I based my perception of trust based on human relationships, and that trusting Him didn’t mean that things would always go my way.

Submitting to God is trusting God. I am at a place in my life ( today) in which I am relaxed and at peace. Peace comes when we trust God because we are not worried/ consumed as we have complete faith that God is able. He will not lead us astray. He will place us on a path leading back to Him which is most beneficial for us.

A few weeks ago, my son said I was hard on him and that I spanked ( not the word he used) all the time. He said I

Would hold him accountable for things that he thought were unfair. He said he appreciates he was disciplined because he is doing ok in life.

I disciplined him because I love him and although he is an adult the love doesn’t stop; I still get at him.

The same with our Father in heaven. Chastisement may hurt but it is necessary. He loves us! If He didn’t love us, He would leave us to our own demise not caring about what we did… He would let us travel to hell without trying to keep us with Him.

When you have the ability to do good towards others, do that. Avoid plotting evil towards others. Do not envy those who do wrong prospering in their own way as they will receive their just reward.

God will bless those who trust, obey, and are submitted to Him. The wise inherit honor/ respect.

God forgive me for not trusting you.

God forgive me for trying to be wise in my own eyes.

God order my steps
