People who know you, may think they know you BUT GOD knows the heart of man.
I am glad he knows my heart (Luke 16:15) He looks beyond my faults and sees my needs.
God does not look at my appearance, my clothes, my looks, nor does He care about my graying hair, God knows my heart
(1 Samuel 16:7).
We are not perfect and we make mistakes daily, we fall short and God knew this (Romans 3:23). This does not mean that we "rest" in sin but that we strive to be better dying to sin crucifying our flesh (Romans 6)..oh and there have been times we all have "rested" in sin and were comfortable with it.
NONE of us are good except for God (Mark 10:18).
We look at the faults of others and develop the mindset that we are better off because our sin does not look like theirs..wrong answer. Lets get the beam out of our own eyes, removing junk from our own lives and even when we do remove our junk there will be more junk (Matthew 7:5)
Strange that when I ask God to fix me, He does just that by showing me my mess but yet there is always something else..this is a continous process and even when I think I am good, here I go again.
I thank God for it..You praise Him when He shows you, you..He loves you.
Purging may hurt our feelings but its not hurting us.. Getting rid of the old yeast so I may have a new unleavened batch (1 Corinthians 5:7-8)
We are in a season where we need to unite with our brothers and sisters in faith but also come from among them...(2 Corinthians 6:17). Hold fast to God, His Word, and your tribe (yes find your people).
